Blog Announcement

Today’s subject is not a normal subject.  But what is a normal subject?  Anyone could make the case that any of my topics are either normal or abnormal, depending on their point of view.  However, I like to think that I don’t write abnormal stories.  Abnormal stories are warped and strange.  They are twisted and devious with a blend of subterfuge and mystery.  There might even be elements of horror and supernatural thrown in just to heighten the suspense.  I don’t do any of that bullshit.  I could refer you to some excellent authors who do.  I’m just not one of them.  Now I might spin a few twists into my story, but that’s not the same as having a twisted story.  A twisted story has to come from a twisted mind.  And my mind is pretty straight.  If you don’t believe me, just ask me.  So when I say today’s subject is not a normal subject, I do not mean that it is abnormal.  I simply mean that it is out of the ordinary.  In other words, it is not a story that you would expect to see on my blog.  So why am I writing it?  That is the question.  I have often wondered that myself.  Oh wait, I couldn’t possibly have wondered that often because I have only written this post just now.  Hmmm…  I’ll have to think about that for a minute.  Anyway, the reason that I am writing this post is quite simple.  I needed to write a post.  But that’s not the reason.  The real reason is that I am reducing the posting frequency to my blog to twice a week.  There is a reason for this.  No.  The reason is not because.  The reason is that I wrote a book that centers around this blog and was my initial purpose for starting this blog.  I am in the process of preparing to publish that book.  I have to do some intensive editing to prepare the book for publishing.  Once it is ready for release, I will make an announcement on this blog.  Thank you for reading my blogs and for your understanding and patience. 1. The ramen incident: I have decided to remain anonymous to protect my identity from the foolishness. last night, I became hungry and decided to make some ramen. I removed the various packets from the bowl, added the flavor and vegetables, then put the bowl in the microwave. After about a minute or two, I realized something was wrong. A terrible burning smell had filled my kitchen. I opened the door to my microwave and…low and behold…I had neglected to add water. There was some smoke coming from the bowl. Not wanting to waste the ramen, I went to the sink and added water, which filled the room in acrid smoke for several seconds. I then returned the bowl to the microwave and cooked it for two more minutes before attempting to eat it. Well….It went okay for a little while, until I discovered a globule of blackened noodles which had turned into some sort of strange crystalline substance yet seen in nature by humankind. I had a change of heart.
